In French it is called as Natural sweated wine. Wine is a kind of sweet drink most of the people love to have wine during the food. Most of the Vins doux naturels white wines are made from MUSCA.
Here is wine with natural sweetness with out adding artificial sweet. Vins doux naturels is a kind of fortified wine and it contain high natural sugar content, it is made from white Muscat grapes, Muscat a Petits Grains or Muscat of Alexandria or red Grenache grapes in the south of France.
The manufacture of vins doux naturels was perfect by Arnaud de Villeneuve at the University of Montpellier in the 13th century and now its common in the Languedoc-Roussillon of southwest France.
As the name suggests Muscat de Rivesaltes, Muscat de Frontignan and Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise are all made from the white Muscat grape, at the same time as Banyuls and Maury are made from red Grenache.
The fermentation of the wine is stopped by adding up to 10 percent of 95 percent grape sprit. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of an impartial alcohol. The result wine is usually 15 to 18 % alcohol. It varies by it sweetness with white wines usually being sweeter and less alcoholic than reds.
