Yummy White Wine & Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

  • Pasta -1 pound
  • Garlic  – 4 chopped
  • olive oil – 1/4 cup
  • Unsalted butter – 5 tbsp
  • Red pepper – 1/2 tsp crushed
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Ground pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • white wine – 1/2 cup
  • Parsley – 1/2 cup
  • Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup

Directions:

Heat oil in over medium heat.

Add garlic & red pepper. Saute till golden colour.

Now add salt, pepper, white wine & butter.

Mix 2 min & remove from heat.

Cook pasta allowing to information in it & drain

Mix pasta with sauce, parsley & cheese.

Homemade delight – Lamb With White Wine

Ingredients:

  • Butter – 1 1/2 tbs
  • Chopped onion – 4 cups
  • Garlic cloves – 6 crushed
  • Lamb shoulder- 2 pounds
  • Fruity white wine – 3 cups
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • Parsley – 1/2 tsp
  • rosemary – 1 tsp
  • small red potatoes – 1/2 pound
  • turnips -1/2 pound
  • carrots – 1/2 pound
  • asparagus 1/2 pound
  • Salt

Directions:

Melt butter in medium heat and add onion to the pan saute 2 minutes, then add garlic saute 1 minute.In another pan add half of the lamb saute until browned. Remove from the pan add to onion mixture. Now repeat the process for left over lamb.

Now our fruity white wine to the pan, rubbing pan to loosen burnt bits. Return lamb combination to the pan, add salt & pepper. Combine oregano, parsley and rosemary. Add half of aromatic plant mixture to pan and bring to boil.

Cover the pan simmer until lamb is tender. After that add potatoes, turnips, and carrots and cook 40 minutes.  Finally add asparagus and cook for 5 minutes. Mixing the remaining herb mixture.

Serve hot.
