- Aftertaste
- This is wine tasting term. Aftertaste is left on the palate after the wine is finished.
- Acidity
- Acidity gives the wine its body and structure. Adequate acidity gives the wine a energy and juiciness. Acidity is important for the aging of wines.
- Alcohol
- Alcohol is the product of sugar when it is fermented by yeast. Alcohol content in the wine gives the wine a body and texture.
- Aroma
- Aroma refers to the smell of the grapes as well as the wine.
- Aeration
- Aeration is the process of addition of calculated amount of oxygen to the wine to round and soften it.
- Aging
- The process of making the wine to attain its desirable state by storing it in barrels, tanks and bottles.
- Alcoholic
- If the wine contains a high alcohol then it is said to be alcoholic. This might cause burning sensation and is often called as hot.
