Chicken parched in wine

Ingredients

  • Garlic - 1 (crushed)
  • Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Dry sherry - ¾ cups
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Chicken fryer about 3 lbs - 1
  • Paprika - to taste
  • Wine
  • Salt - to taste

Method

Mix together the crushed garlic, lemon juice, oil, wine and the salt.

In a shallow baking pan pour the chicken. Soak it for 4 hours turning it frequently.

Heat the oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit.

Generously sprinkle the paprika over the chicken. Bake it for 50 minutes till it becomes tender.

Heat a plate and arrange the chicken in it.

Serve the sauce separately.
